Tracey Jackson

Hi, I'm Tracey Jackson.

I grew up outside of Allen on a hog farm, where we also grew corn and beans. After graduating high school I attended Macalester College in St. Paul, Minnesota.  I came back to Nebraska to marry my high school sweetheart, Andy Dickinson.

In February 2000 I began my career in the investment and financial planning industry-just in time to see the dot com bubble burst. Since then I’ve helped clients through all the ups and downs, including the financial crisis of 2008 and the pandemic of 2020. Downturns are inevitable. Clients need financial planning strategies to grow their wealth and income over the long-term, while also withstanding whatever surprises are lurking around the corner. Minimizing taxes and passing on wealth to loved ones or charitable causes is always a consideration in those financial planning discussions.

Most of my clients are small business owners. They wear a lot of hats. I can coordinate with their attorneys, accountants, and insurance agents, so they can focus on growing their business. They might need help setting up retirement plans, designing a strategy to transfer their business at retirement or death, or just saving on taxes.

Other clients come to me following a big life change. For example, the loss of a spouse can be overwhelming for widows, especially if they aren't used to managing the finances. Concerns about how to create an income stream as one nears retirement can be a bit confusing.

If these specific examples don't describe you, that's okay! I've served a wide variety of clients over the years. Working together with others to find clarity and more peace of mind with their financial decisions is what drives me.

Outside of work I enjoy being outdoors. That might include swimming, boating, biking, gardening, or just relaxing on my deck at home. You’ll often find me walking around Pilger with my spoiled dog, Bindi. I like attending yoga and fitness classes at Pilger’s Cooper Family Community Center to make up for all the hours I spend behind a desk.  I also volunteer as the Community Center’s Board President.

My husband Andy and I enjoy hanging out and laughing with friends, and attending local events to support the communities in the West Point/Wayne/Norfolk area. We also love binge-watching TV shows, and taking a short vacation somewhere warm during the winter months.
